Web Development Process
It may seem intimidating when you're starting out to create a website. With a short phone call I can explain the process and help get you started.
I work directly with client to determine the desired style and functionality.
A great starting place for a new website is to find a few sites you like, from style, layout, or functionality, to something small like their button structure or color scheme.
Create a table of contents that lists all of the pages, content, and photos you'd like to use on the site.
I will create a basic layout and look for your site, and when approved, continue with the development process.

Web Forms and Event Registration
Online forms are an excellent way to collect information. For events that require registration, there is no easier method for you or your visitors.
See sample web forms on my contacts page, or throughout the San Diego Yacht Club Race Informaiton site (click on the events on the right, and follow to the Online Entry links).
Web Forums
If your site has a large audience, a good way to interact with them, and have them interact with each other is through a web forum.
Users can create an account, login and read, post, and reply to other user's posts.
I can install and configure the forum to your specifications, and then allow you to manage the flow of content and users.

Web Logs (Blogs)
Blogs are a great way to add content to your website without any web design experience needed. You can post as much information as you want, its categorized by content and date, and is searchable within the blog.

Google Calendar
With your Google account (such as for Gmail use), there is another free calendar application. Manage your web-based calendar, and choose which items to list as public or private.
